Role of the District Officer
The District Officer represents and advocates for the Members of all four Bargaining Units of District 27: Instructors, Professional Student Services Personnel (PSSP), Teachers, and Occasional Teachers. It is the responsibility of the District Officer to attend to all matters involving maintenance of the Collective Agreements of the Bargaining Units. This involves overseeing things such as staffing, benefits and payroll and generally assisting Members in personal or professional difficulty.
